As a qualified physiotherapist in 1988 and have specialised in numerous disciplines within physiotherapy over the years. As the founder of Emscote Therapy, I have worked hard to create a successful multidiscipline environment offering health care treatments.
Within the private sector, I have always maintained excellent communication with other regional specialists in physiotherapy, Osteopathy, NHS / Private Consultant Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical Consultation that has helped me provide the best patient care and referral process, for each individual client.
My experience has enabled me to work with top professional ‘World Champion’ Sports personnel, and the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) Actors.
In 2002, I was invited to take part in the ‘Clinical Trials’ for a revolutionary new spinal treatment tool, known as Theraflex (previously known as PAMM). More about TheraFlex I also have previous expertise of using Power Assisted Micromanipulation (PAMM) in the clinic when first introduced in the UK as a Spinal treatment tool during 1997.
These ‘Clinical Trials’ have now been successfully completed and the TheraFlex health care device has received FDA marketing and treatment clearance in the U.S. and has also received the CE mark. Following this success, I now incorporate this treatment into the daily practice and the feedback from patients so far has been incredible.
In 2007 Emscote Therapy invested in innovative technology known as, ShockMaster® - Shockwave Therapy (ESWT – MasterPlus MP100) that generated phenomenal patient reactions during initial trials. The different treatment applications are so varied such as sport injuries and back pain; we now incorporate this multi-use treatment method into our daily practice of physiotherapy and chiropody / podiatry health care treatments. As a qualified surgical chiropodist and podiatrist in February 2000 and immediately joined Emscote Therapy as a health care professional.
As we only provide a service to the private sector, I still maintain links with other organisations associated with chiropody and podiatry treatments. These speciality areas are closely linked with those associated to physiotherapy and I have a direct liaison and cross referral privileges with NHS / Private Orthopaedic Consultants and Foot and Ankle Consultant Surgeons enabling me to offer good clinical advice and quality treatments and problems.
I offer the highest quality treatment for all aspects of chiropody and podiatry and there is no health problem or treatment too small or large. My experience to date has enabled me to work with many Professional Sports personnel and clients from all age groups offering treatments to sport injuries. Treatments includes all areas of pre and post operative conditions, minor surgical procedures, non-invasive treatment, general chiropody / podiatry conditions, biomechanical and lower limb disorders.
